About the Role
Elysium Lagos is a prestigious fine dining establishment catering to discerning guests in the heart of Lekki Phase One. Our unique venue houses a vibrant cafe, a sophisticated lounge, a serene garden restaurant, and an exclusive fine dining section. We recreate the magic of nature and serenity, conjuring an ambience of earthy magic paired with exceptional beverages and meals that soothe, heal, and rejuvenate. Elysium is expanding its hospitality family, and we are looking for a creative, skilled, and dedicated Mixologist to elevate our beverage program.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and continually update an innovative, high-end cocktail and beverage menu that complements our fine dining and lounge offerings.
- Craft exquisite alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, consistency, and artistic presentation.
- Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service, engaging with guests to recommend drinks tailored to their preferences.
- Manage bar inventory, monitor stock levels, and order supplies in coordination with management while minimizing waste.
- Maintain immaculate cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards behind the bar in compliance with health regulations.
- Train and mentor junior bar staff on mixology techniques, recipes, and outstanding customer service delivery.
- Collaborate closely with the culinary team to create unique beverage and food pairings.
- Proven professional experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or upscale lounge environment.
- Deep knowledge of mixology trends, craft spirits, wines, classic cocktails, and artisanal ingredients.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a strong passion for delivering luxury guest experiences.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume fine dining setting.
- Relevant certifications in hospitality, mixology, or food and beverage service are an added advantage.
