About the Role
Culture Kitchen is a vibrant, cultural-themed restaurant located in the heart of Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, specializing in authentic Eastern Nigerian cuisine within an immersive village setting. We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Maintenance Officer to join our dynamic team and ensure our unique facility operates smoothly, safely, and efficiently at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine inspections of restaurant electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to prevent unexpected equipment downtime.
- Perform timely preventive and corrective maintenance on restaurant furniture, kitchen equipment, and rustic decor elements.
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for specialized repairs and major facility upgrades.
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from management and staff, resolving issues quickly with minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all restaurant premises.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on facility maintenance experience, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Relevant technical certification, Trade Test, or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair diverse equipment issues independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff at all levels.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle manual tasks and lift heavy objects when necessary.
