About the Role
Learners' Crest Schools, a reputable co-educational institution located in Baale Ajuwon, Ogun State, near the Ojodu Berger and Iju axis of Lagos, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Minder. In this vital role, you will ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of our young learners within the Crèche, Preschool, and Nursery sections, fostering a nurturing environment that supports early childhood development.
Key Responsibilities- Provide attentive, loving care and supervision for infants, toddlers, and young children throughout the school day.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom and play environment that adheres to health and safety standards.
- Assist teachers with daily classroom activities, learning materials, and developmental routines.
- Support children with feeding, personal hygiene, and nap-time schedules with patience and empathy.
- Observe children's behavior and report any health or developmental concerns promptly to school management and parents.
- Relevant academic qualifications in Early Childhood Care, Education, or a related field.
- Proven previous experience working as a minder, nanny, or caregiver in a structured school or childcare setting.
- Strong passion for child development and a naturally warm, patient, and approachable demeanor.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Residency in or close proximity to the Baale Ajuwon, Ogun State, or Ojodu Berger/Iju Lagos axis is highly advantageous.
