About the Role

We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Mill Fitter to join our dynamic maintenance team and ensure the seamless operation of our industrial machinery.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out mechanical maintenance, repairs, and installation of mill equipment to ensure optimal plant efficiency.
- Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance activities to prevent unexpected machinery failures.
- Diagnose complex mechanical faults rapidly and execute precise corrective repairs.
- Maintain, repair, and replace heavy mechanical components including bearings, shafts, couplings, gearboxes, and rollers.
- Support new equipment installation, precision alignment, and comprehensive commissioning activities.
- Collaborate closely with production and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime and optimize output.
- Ensure all maintenance operations strictly comply with internal and industry-standard safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance logs, service records, and operational reports.
- Possession of an HND or B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on industrial mechanical experience.
- Prior working experience in a steel plant, manufacturing facility, rolling mill, or heavy industrial environment is a distinct advantage.
- Deep practical knowledge of industrial mechanical maintenance, rotating equipment, and hydraulic systems.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities and proven problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
