Key Responsibilities
  • Source, evaluate, and onboard potential clients for microcredit loans tailored to small and medium enterprise needs.
  • Conduct thorough credit appraisals and risk assessments to evaluate clients' businesses and repayment capacities.
  • Process loan applications and support underwriting decisions strictly in line with the bank's credit policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all loan applications, approvals, and disbursements.
  • Monitor loan utilization and actively follow up on daily repayments to ensure healthy portfolio quality.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage delinquent accounts and execute effective debt recovery strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients to enhance satisfaction, retention, and brand loyalty.
  • Prepare periodic reports on loan performance, emerging portfolio trends, and client feedback for branch management.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, or a related academic field.
  • 1 to 3 years of proven professional experience in microcredit, loan processing, or MSME lending within a microfinance bank or financial institution.
  • Demonstrated foundational skills in basic financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and loan structuring.
  • Exceptional customer service, relationship management, and communication skills.
  • Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and proficiency in using loan management systems and office software.
  • High level of integrity, reliability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven team environment.
  • Prior working experience within the Abuja market is a distinct advantage.
