About the Role
JV Management Consulting, a leading indigenous Human Resource Management consulting firm, is seeking energetic, customer-focused, and result-oriented Merchandising Officers to join our dynamic team. You will serve as a frontline brand ambassador, responsible for executing compelling field merchandising and retail activation campaigns across assigned locations in Southern Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Execute market, street, school, and retail activation campaigns in line with company standards
- Set up branded promotional and sampling stations to maximize product visibility
- Conduct consumer education initiatives and manage product sampling activities
- Build and maintain positive relationships with retailers and distributors
- Ensure optimal product shelf presence and visibility compliance
- Monitor and enforce approved product pricing across all retail points
- Distribute promotional materials and gather actionable market intelligence
- Submit accurate daily digital field reports using smartphone technology
- Maintain company uniforms, merchandising equipment, and promotional assets in excellent condition
- OND, NCE, or equivalent qualification
- 2–3 years of proven work experience in merchandising, sales, or retail environments
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
- Fluency in Nigerian Pidgin English (mandatory)
- Basic smartphone proficiency and digital literacy
- Valid means of identification
- Current residence in Asaba or surrounding environs
- Willingness to travel extensively across Southern Nigeria
