Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate, complete, and strictly confidential patient health records in compliance with organizational policies.
- Manage end-to-end records workflows including patient registration, data retrieval, systematic filing, clinical coding, and document retention.
- Ensure absolute confidentiality and data protection in strict alignment with the Nigeria Data Protection Act.
- Support clinical care delivery, billing operations, managed-care processes, and institutional reporting through timely records provision.
- Contribute proactively to data quality assurance, internal audits, and departmental service improvement initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative colleagues to resolve data discrepancies and streamline workflows.
- Possession of a recognized qualification in health information management or health records, such as a BSc in Health Information Management, HND, or Diploma in Health Records.
- Successful completion of any required internship, professional registration training, and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), or a valid exemption certificate.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven post-registration professional experience in health information and records management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of modern health information management practices, clinical coding, and records systems.
- Exceptional accuracy, strong attention to detail, and comprehensive understanding of data-protection obligations.
