Key Responsibilities- Support advanced radiotherapy planning through target-organ contouring, precise CT simulations, patient treatment, and authorized clinical procedures.
- Conduct thorough follow-up consultations, assess patient progress, review laboratory and radiology results, and advise on optimal clinical management including radiation, surgery, or chemotherapy.
- Counsel patients and their families on treatment plans, potential side effects, lifestyle adjustments, and dietary changes while securing informed consent and preserving patient dignity.
- Participate actively in tumour boards, multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, seminars, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to staff training, continuous medical education, research and development, and the creation of educational materials to enhance patient experience and awareness.
- Medical Degree (MBBS, MD, or DO) from an accredited institution with a valid practicing license in Nigeria.
- Board certification or active eligibility in Medical Oncology or a closely related oncology specialty.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant clinical experience in oncology or a specialized medical practice.
- Demonstrated expertise in quality assurance, clinical audits, oncology treatment protocols, and multidisciplinary case management.
- Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills with a commitment to evidence-based practice and emerging oncology technologies.
