About the Role
DRG Hospital Limited is a modern, full-service medical facility located in the heart of Kubwa, Abuja (FCT). We offer a wide range of specialized healthcare services including general medicine, surgery, maternity care, laboratory diagnostics, ultrasound scans, ECG, special baby care, ENT, and dental services. We are currently seeking a qualified, competent, and dedicated Medical Officer (Locum) to deliver exceptional clinical care and contribute to our growing healthcare institution.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough clinical assessments, accurate diagnoses, and effective patient management plans.
- Perform independent ultrasound scans and interpret diagnostic test results accurately.
- Provide emergency medical care and manage inpatient and outpatient cases professionally.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records in line with hospital standards.
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, laboratory technicians, and other specialists to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on preventive healthcare, treatment plans, and wellness management.
- Must possess a recognized MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a reputable institution.
- Must hold a valid and current practising license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Demonstrated ability to perform ultrasound scans independently is strictly required.
- Possess strong clinical assessment, diagnosis, and patient management skills.
- Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, and compassionate patient-care skills.
- Previous hospital or clinical experience in a similar locum or full-time role will be an added advantage.
