About the Role

We are currently recruiting a skilled and compassionate Medical Officer I to join our healthcare team in Mosimi. In this role, you will provide comprehensive clinical care in family medicine, assessing and managing patients across both out-patient and in-patient settings while upholding the highest standards of medical practice and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in family medicine under appropriate supervision, ensuring prompt escalation when necessary.
  • Participate actively in clinical sessions, ward rounds, on-call rotas, and medical procedures as required by the facility.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical records in compliance with internal policies and retain a current MDCN registration and practicing licence.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, coordinating patient care and supporting HMO and managed-care processes through evidence-based practice.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of mandatory housemanship and NYSC, or presentation of a valid exemption certificate.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-NYSC clinical experience, though newly qualified medical officers with valid licenses may also be considered.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical record-keeping, hospital systems, and effective communication with patients and colleagues.
