About the Role

The Dangote Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospital Administrator to drive operational excellence at the Aliko Dangote Foundation Surgical & Diagnostic Centre (SDC) located at the Murtala Muhammed Specialist Hospital in Kano. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered healthcare services, optimal facility utilization, and strict compliance with operational standards, serving as a vital liaison between hospital management, the Foundation, and government stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day operational management and operationalization of the Surgical & Diagnostic Centre.
  • Coordinate clinical support services, patient flow, admissions, diagnostics, and theatre operations.
  • Oversee medical equipment maintenance programs, facility management, and asset tracking systems.
  • Drive service excellence, patient satisfaction, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain robust compliance, risk management, governance, and resource accountability frameworks.
  • Manage approved budgets, procurement plans, inventory controls, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate workforce planning, staff performance monitoring, training, and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospital Administration, Health Management, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior administrative or operational role within a large healthcare institution.
  • Proven expertise in managing hospital operations, diagnostic services, medical equipment, and healthcare budgeting systems.
