About the Role

Dragnet Solutions is a dynamic Information Technology company specializing in innovative people screening solutions and recruitment processes. We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Medical Officer I to join our healthcare services in Lagos. In this role, you will provide comprehensive clinical care in family medicine under supervision, assessing and managing patients across both out-patient and in-patient settings while ensuring the safe and effective running of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients in family medicine under appropriate supervision, escalating complex cases when necessary.
  • Participate actively in clinics, ward rounds, on-call rotas, and clinical procedures as required.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical records and keep MDCN registration and license current in line with internal policies.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, coordinating patient care and supporting HMO processes through evidence-based practice.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) from a recognized institution.
  • Successful completion of national housemanship/internship and NYSC, or possession of a valid exemption certificate.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of post-NYSC clinical experience, though exceptional newly qualified medical officers with a valid license may be considered.
  • Demonstrated clinical exposure relevant to family medicine and the ability to manage common medical presentations.
  • Strong clinical record-keeping skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
