In this role, you will deliver exceptional patient care, conduct thorough clinical assessments, and work alongside multidisciplinary specialists to promote optimal health outcomes in a modern medical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, medical consultations, and accurate physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage common medical conditions, initiating appropriate treatment plans and timely referrals.
- Request, interpret, and follow up on relevant laboratory investigations and diagnostic imaging.
- Provide initial assessment and stabilization of medical emergencies within the scope of clinical competence.
- Monitor patient progress, ensuring meticulous documentation of clinical findings and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with consultant physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to guarantee continuity of care.
- Participate actively in ward rounds, clinical meetings, case reviews, and continuous quality improvement audits.
- Educate patients and their families regarding disease prevention, treatment adherence, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Adhere strictly to clinical protocols, infection prevention standards, and patient safety policies.
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or recognized equivalent medical qualification.
- Current and valid practicing license issued by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Successful completion of mandatory housemanship and NYSC, or possession of a valid exemption certificate.
- Previous clinical experience in a recognized hospital or healthcare setting is highly advantageous.
