About the Role
Elizabeth Maddeux Limited is currently recruiting a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist on behalf of our esteemed client in the pharmaceutical sector. Located in Egbeda, Lagos, this role is crucial for delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care, ensuring safe medication management, and maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance within a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately and safely to all patients.
- Review prescriptions thoroughly to ensure appropriate dosage, correct administration routes, and absence of adverse drug interactions.
- Monitor, manage, and maintain optimal inventory levels while adhering to strict storage conditions for all medical products.
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable Nigerian pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional ethical standards.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date records of prescriptions, controlled substances, medication transactions, and stock inventory.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by providing professional medication counselling and responding knowledgeably to patient inquiries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
- Valid practicing license and registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on professional pharmacy practice experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, dosage forms, side effects, and patient counseling techniques.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, high ethical standards, and accuracy in daily tasks.
- Proximity to Egbeda, Lagos, and surrounding areas will be considered a distinct advantage.
