About the Role
Lily Hospitals Limited, a leading multi-specialty private healthcare provider established in 1984, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Officer to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care, ensuring high clinical standards and contributing to our vision of redefining healthcare excellence in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality medical care to inpatient and outpatient clients, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plans.
- Collaborate closely with consultants and senior registrars regarding patient management, diagnostics, and medication administration.
- Assist consultants during surgical procedures, including cesarean sections, to safeguard patient health.
- Examine patients, analyze complex test results, and facilitate timely referrals to appropriate specialists.
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and legible medical records, documentation, and discharge summaries for every patient encounter.
- Participate actively in case planning, pre-admission coordination, and risk management duties.
- Fulfil on-call duties and participate in rotating shift rosters as required by the hospital.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS or MBChB) degree from a recognized institution.
- 1 to 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience as a Medical Officer.
- Valid practicing license issued by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Demonstrated knowledge of general medicine and related clinical disciplines.
- Exceptional interpersonal abilities, featuring a sympathetic bedside manner, active listening, and strong problem-solving skills.
