The Cross River State Government is seeking a dedicated and qualified Medical Officer to join our healthcare system in providing exceptional medical services to the citizens of the state. Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive primary and emergency medical care to outpatients and inpatients.
- Diagnose, manage, and treat various medical conditions, diseases, and injuries.
- Conduct routine medical examinations and recommend appropriate diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare specialists to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Participate in community health outreach programs and state-led public health campaigns.
- Possession of an MBBCh or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Must possess a valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- 1 to 4 years of active medical practice experience post-graduation.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and crisis management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team within a fast-paced environment.
