Cedarcrest Hospitals, a leading modern specialist medical care centre located in Abuja, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Medical Officer to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Medical Officer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient-centered care, working alongside renowned specialists in orthopaedics, neurosurgery, internal medicine, and more.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to outpatients and inpatients.
- Manage emergency cases efficiently in collaboration with specialist consultants and nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic medical records and patient documentation.
- Participate actively in ward rounds, clinical audits, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Educate patients and their families on preventive healthcare, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Possess an MBBS or MBChB degree from a recognized institution.
- Current practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Minimum of 2 years post-registration clinical experience in a reputable hospital setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications will be an added advantage.
