About the Role
Harmony 360 Health is a premier physician-led integrative medicine clinic located in Ibadan, Nigeria. We are dedicated to helping adults and children address the root causes of their health concerns by combining modern medicine, lifestyle medicine, advanced diagnostics, and evidence-informed natural therapies. We are currently seeking a competent, compassionate, and patient-centred Medical Officer to join our dynamic clinical team.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with common acute and chronic illnesses.
- Provide expert paediatric urgent care for conditions such as high fevers, respiratory infections, asthma exacerbations, gastrointestinal illnesses, and dehydration.
- Promptly recognise critically ill patients and initiate appropriate stabilisation and emergency referral protocols.
- Perform routine and advanced clinical procedures within demonstrated competence and facility capabilities.
- Order and accurately interpret appropriate diagnostic investigations.
- Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and timely electronic medical records.
- Communicate clearly, compassionately, and effectively with patients and their caregivers.
- Collaborate closely with nursing and multidisciplinary clinical staff to ensure seamless, coordinated patient care.
- Adhere strictly to established clinical governance protocols and patient-safety standards.
- Possession of an MBBS or equivalent primary medical qualification.
- Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) alongside a valid practicing licence.
- Successful completion of the mandatory one-year medical housemanship.
- Demonstrated relevant post-housemanship clinical experience, with strong diagnostic and emergency recognition skills.
- Current or previous experience as a Paediatric Registrar, or substantial practical experience in paediatric emergency and clinical care, will be a distinct advantage.
