Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, examinations, and diagnoses
  • Prescribe appropriate treatments, medications, and personalized management plans
  • Admit, manage, and discharge patients according to hospital protocols
  • Perform minor medical and surgical procedures as required
  • Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation and patient records
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, pharmacists, and laboratory scientists
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations
  • Participate actively in ward rounds and clinical meetings
  • Educate patients and families on preventive health and treatment options
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training programs

Qualifications
  • MBBS/MBChB degree from a recognized institution
  • Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria
  • Valid practicing license
  • Completed Housemanship program
  • NYSC discharge or exemption certificate
  • 2–10 years post-NYSC clinical experience (preferred)
  • Hospital experience and emergency/obstetrics/pediatrics background desirable
