We are currently looking for a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering accurate diagnostic results, ensuring patient safety, and supporting our mission to provide exceptional healthcare services across our modern clinics.
Key Responsibilities- Perform professional phlebotomy procedures on both adult and pediatric patients with care and precision.
- Operate, manage, and maintain automated hematology and chemistry analyzers, pipettes, balances, and other laboratory apparatus following standard operating procedures.
- Label, sort, record specimens, and accurately input data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Identify and promptly communicate critical abnormal results to supervisory personnel, physicians, and nursing staff.
- Conduct routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and monitor strict quality control measures to ensure reliable results.
- Maintain comprehensive laboratory inventories and assist in updating regulatory checklists regularly.
- Interact with patients and their families in a compassionate, professional manner to support patient-centered care delivery.
- Minimum of a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) from an accredited School of Health Technology.
- Valid, up-to-date registration and practicing license with the relevant regulatory body.
- Certification from the Association of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (AMLSN).
- 1 to 4 years of proven clinical experience working in a hospital or medical laboratory environment.
- Strong proficiency in utilizing laboratory equipment and information management systems.
