Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide range of routine and specialized laboratory tests and analyses in compliance with established medical protocols.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment to ensure precision and reliability of results.
- Collect, prepare, preserve, and examine biological specimens with strict adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
- Record and report laboratory test results accurately and promptly to attending physicians and medical personnel.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all tests conducted and manage laboratory inventory effectively.
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Possession of a current practicing license.
- Evidence of completion or exemption from the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- High proficiency in modern laboratory techniques, diagnostics, and safety procedures.
