We are currently looking for a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of providing accurate and timely diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, prepare, and properly label patient specimens for various laboratory analyses.
- Perform routine diagnostic tests in strict accordance with established laboratory procedures.
- Operate, calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment and delicate instruments.
- Prepare necessary reagents and ensure optimal storage conditions for all laboratory consumables.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date laboratory records and digital documentation.
- Observe rigorous quality control procedures and adhere strictly to laboratory safety guidelines.
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly and assist technical teams with troubleshooting.
- Collaborate closely with Medical Laboratory Scientists to deliver reliable diagnostic services.
- Diploma or National Diploma (ND) in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Must possess a valid practicing license where applicable.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience within a medical laboratory or healthcare facility.
- Solid understanding of standard laboratory procedures, biosafety protocols, and quality assurance practices.
- Demonstrated ability to operate basic laboratory equipment efficiently.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is an added advantage.
- Applicants must reside within Jabi or Lugbe, including surrounding areas such as Carwash, Police Signpost, Aleyita, or Trade More.
