About the Role
Bioclinix Medical Diagnostics Centre is a leading, patient-centered medical diagnostic and laboratory facility located in Badagry, Lagos State, Nigeria. We are seeking a competent, dedicated, and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic diagnostic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in performing laboratory investigations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results, maintaining strict quality standards, and supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of our facility to deliver exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and specialized medical laboratory investigations with high precision.
- Analyze, validate, and document laboratory results accurately and promptly.
- Ensure strict compliance with quality control, biosafety protocols, and standard operating procedures.
- Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment appropriately.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient and laboratory records.
- Manage reagents and consumable inventories, promptly reporting stock requirements to management.
- Participate actively in quality assurance programs and continuous professional improvement activities.
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS/B.MLS) or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Current registration and valid practicing license with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Previous relevant experience in a diagnostic center or hospital laboratory is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
