About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering accurate, timely, and reliable laboratory testing and reporting to support optimal patient care and clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, analyze, and accurately report laboratory test results in a timely manner.
- Conduct routine quality control checks and ensure laboratory equipment is functional and properly maintained.
- Manage laboratory reagents, consumables, ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and prepare comprehensive periodic activity reports.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of patient information and laboratory results at all times.
- Maintain compliance with infection control, medical waste management, HSE, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to support patient care and clinical workflows.
- Report equipment faults, incidents, hazards, and unsafe practices promptly to management.
- Associate of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Science (AIMLS).
- Fellowship of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Science (FIMLS) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience working in a reputable healthcare institution.
- Current professional registration and practicing licence with the relevant regulatory body in Nigeria.
- Strong expertise in laboratory testing, analysis, quality control assurance, and equipment operation.
