We are currently looking for a skilled and dedicated Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our professional team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing accurate diagnostic testing, ensuring quality control, and supporting patient care outcomes within our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and specialized medical laboratory tests accurately using semi-automated laboratory systems.
- Maintain proper documentation of test results and manage laboratory data efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to quality management protocols and safety standards within the laboratory.
- Prepare reagents, calibrate equipment, and perform routine maintenance on laboratory instruments.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure prompt and reliable diagnostic services.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines set by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS).
- Must have 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar clinical laboratory role.
- Must possess a current registration and valid practicing license with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Demonstrated experience operating semi-automated laboratory systems is highly desirable.
- Strong documentation, quality management, and laboratory data management skills.
- High attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must have successfully completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- Proximity to the work location is very important.
- Must be available to resume immediately.
