Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests under the supervision of senior medical laboratory scientists.
- Handle, process, and analyze biological specimens accurately while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instruments regularly.
- Accurately record, manage, and report test results using the hospital's data management systems.
- Participate in departmental training sessions, quality control assessments, and continuous professional development programs.
- Possess a recognized Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) degree or equivalent from a reputable university in Nigeria or abroad.
- Must possess provisional registration and a valid practicing license with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary healthcare environment.
