About the Role
Bingham University, Karu, established by the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA), is seeking a dedicated and experienced Paediatrician to join our esteemed faculty. As a university committed to producing Christ-centred leaders through quality tertiary education integrated with moral and spiritual values, we invite suitably qualified medical professionals to contribute to our growing healthcare and academic community in Karu, Nasarawa State.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive medical care, diagnosis, and treatment for infants, children, and adolescents within the university teaching hospital environment. Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate medical training, mentoring students and resident doctors. Conduct clinical research and contribute to academic publications within the field of paediatrics. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and clinical standards. Participate in departmental meetings, community health outreaches, and university service committees as required.
Qualifications- Possession of an MBBS or MBChB degree from a recognized institution.
- Must hold a relevant Fellowship in Paediatrics from a recognized postgraduate medical college (e.g., FWACP, FMCPaed, or equivalent).
- Current valid practicing license and registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Demonstrated experience in clinical practice and medical education is highly desirable.
