We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Lab Scientist to join our diagnostic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in patient care by delivering accurate laboratory results that guide our physicians in effective treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complex chemistry tests and diagnostic procedures with high accuracy.
- Use microscopes and advanced laboratory technology to examine body tissue samples.
- Operate, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment regularly.
- Evaluate test results rigorously to identify and resolve potential errors.
- Oversee, mentor, and guide the daily work of laboratory technicians.
- Field inquiries from healthcare providers regarding specific tests performed and clinical outcomes.
- Order, organize, and manage inventory for all laboratory supplies and reagents.
- Update, manage, and approve patient medical records accurately with verified test results.
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) degree from a recognized institution.
- Current valid license to practice as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in Nigeria (MLSCN).
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of clinical laboratory experience in a reputable hospital setting.
- Strong proficiency in operating automated chemistry analyzers and microscopes.
