About the Role
St. Catherine's Specialist Hospital is a leading private healthcare institution in Nigeria, operating multi-disciplinary facilities in Port Harcourt and an ultra-modern branch in Abuja. We are currently looking for a passionate and skilled Medical Doctor to join our professional team and contribute to our mission of excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient consultations, physical examinations, and accurate medical diagnoses.
- Develop, implement, and review comprehensive patient treatment plans.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centred emergency and routine medical care in a 24/7 clinical setting.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary medical teams, including specialists, nurses, and allied health professionals.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic medical records in compliance with hospital standards.
- Participate in medical ward rounds, clinical audits, and continuous professional development programs.
- Possession of an MBBS or equivalent primary medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Must be duly registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and hold a valid practicing license.
- 1 to 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a recognized hospital setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge with proven ability to handle medical emergencies effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
