About the Role
Aldelia Limited is a globally recognized recruitment and specialized services provider, supporting the Oil & Gas sector with exceptional local and international talent. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Doctor to join our dynamic Lagos Medical Division. In this role, you will provide comprehensive clinical care, manage emergency situations, and ensure the highest standards of occupational health are maintained for our personnel and their dependents in alignment with international best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Provide operational availability for medical duties for a minimum of 8 hours per day, managing consultations, diagnoses, and treatments for staff, dependents, and authorized contractors in Lagos.
- Conduct twice-daily ward rounds and reviews of in-house hospitalized cases, ensuring optimal patient recovery.
- Coordinate specialist referrals to external clinics when necessary and maintain regular contact with referral centers.
- Deliver patient counseling on health matters and rigorously follow up on ongoing referral cases.
- Perform annual medical check-ups and reviews for spouses and retirees.
- Submit comprehensive monthly activity reports to the Lagos Senior Medical Officer (SMO).
- Participate actively in Lagos Medical Division management, healthcare planning, and departmental programs.
- Must hold an MBBS degree with a minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience.
- Demonstrated professional experience in Emergency Medicine.
- Up-to-date knowledge and awareness of global medical issues and trends.
- Active registration and compliance with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
