About the Role

In this vital role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the health and wellness of our diverse workforce, ensuring a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment across our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide prompt, effective, and ethical medical consultations, diagnosis, and treatment for employees who fall ill or sustain injuries at work.
- Conduct routine pre-employment, periodic, and exit medical examinations for staff members in compliance with company policies and occupational health standards.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the company clinic, ensuring adequate stock of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, and equipment maintenance.
- Implement health and safety programs, offering guidance on occupational health hazards and preventive healthcare measures.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all patients and coordinate referrals to specialized external healthcare providers when necessary.
- Respond swiftly to workplace emergencies and coordinate first-aid training for designated staff members across various departments.
- Possession of an MBBS degree from a recognized and accredited university, either within Nigeria or abroad.
- Mandatory completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program with a valid discharge certificate, or an official exemption letter.
- Current practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
