About the Role

The Federal University of Allied Health Sciences Enugu (FUAHSE) was established on March 14, 2024, with the mandate to improve the healthcare needs of Nigerians and increase the manpower output in the sector. Following our rapid transformation from a monotechnic into a comprehensive university comprising six faculties and 17 departments, we are scaling our operations to meet global healthcare standards. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Radiographer Nursing Officer to join our esteemed institution and help train innovative, skilled, and proactive allied health professionals for the nation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced radiographer and nursing duties in alignment with university medical and clinical standards.
  • Support clinical training and practical instruction for undergraduate students within the allied health programs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care and diagnostic services.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, equipment calibration logs, and safety compliance protocols.
  • Participate in departmental research initiatives, community health outreaches, and academic committee meetings.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of healthcare delivery and curriculum enhancement within the university.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a recognized degree in Radiography, Nursing, or a closely related allied health discipline from a reputable institution.
  • Relevant professional certifications and current practicing licenses with the appropriate regulatory bodies in Nigeria.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in a clinical, hospital, or academic healthcare environment.
  • Strong moral integrity, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and a commitment to the strategic objectives of FUAHSE.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic university health and educational setting.
