University of Ilesa (UNILESA) Teaching Hospital, established through the strategic upgrade of the historic Ilesa General Hospital by the Osun State Government, is seeking a qualified and dynamic Medical Consultant - Radiology. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert radiological and diagnostic imaging services, including X-ray, MRI, CT scan, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.
  • Interpret medical imaging scans accurately and promptly to assist clinical colleagues in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor resident doctors, medical officers, and radiography interns.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary medical boards, clinical audits, and quality assurance programs.
  • Contribute to institutional research initiatives and academic programs within the teaching hospital.
  • Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and departmental standard operating procedures.

Qualifications
  • Possess a primary medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Hold a Fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS), National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCPath), or an equivalent recognized postgraduate medical qualification in Radiology.
  • Current practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in a recognized healthcare or teaching institution.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
