University of Ilesa - UNILESA Teaching Hospital, formed by the Osun State government through the strategic upgrade of the historic Ilesa General Hospital, is seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Medical Consultant in Internal Medicine. Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive, specialized medical care and diagnosis for patients within the Internal Medicine department.
- Supervise, mentor, and train resident doctors, medical officers, and medical students.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary medical boards, ward rounds, and emergency clinical services.
- Conduct clinical research and contribute to evidence-based medical practices within the hospital.
- Ensure compliance with national health policies, hospital bylaws, and international best practices in patient management.
- Possess a primary medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Must be a Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCP) or West African Postgraduate Medical College (FWACP), or hold equivalent recognized international qualifications.
- Current practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Demonstrated clinical experience in Internal Medicine within a reputable healthcare or teaching institution.
