University of Ilesa - UNILESA Teaching Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Consultant - ENT to join our esteemed medical team. Formed by the Osun State government through the strategic upgrading of the historic Ilesa General Hospital, our institution is committed to delivering exceptional patient care, advancing medical research, and training the next generation of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities- Provide expert specialized diagnosis, treatment, and surgical care for patients with ear, nose, and throat disorders.
- Participate actively in clinical ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and emergency ENT services.
- Supervise, train, and mentor resident doctors, medical officers, and medical students.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient management and safety.
- Contribute to departmental research initiatives, clinical audits, and quality improvement programs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with hospital standards.
- Possess a primary medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Hold a postgraduate fellowship in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) from the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN), West African College of Surgeons (WACS), or an equivalent recognized professional body.
- Current valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
