University of Ilesa (UNILESA) Teaching Hospital, established through the strategic upgrade of the historic Ilesa General Hospital by the Osun State government, is seeking a qualified and dedicated Medical Consultant - ENT. Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive specialist medical and surgical care for patients with ear, nose, and throat disorders.
- Conduct thorough consultations, accurate diagnoses, and develop effective personalized treatment plans.
- Perform complex ENT surgical procedures adhering to the highest standards of medical ethics and patient safety.
- Supervise, mentor, and train resident doctors, medical students, and other clinical support staff.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, morbidity and mortality reviews, and multidisciplinary clinical conferences.
- Contribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives within the hospital.
- Possess a primary medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Hold a postgraduate fellowship in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) from the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) or an equivalent recognized international body.
- Must possess a current and valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Demonstrate relevant clinical experience in diagnosing and treating diverse ENT conditions.
