University of Ilesa (UNILESA) Teaching Hospital, established through the upgrade of the historic Ilesa General Hospital by the Osun State government, is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Medical Consultant in Dentistry. Key Responsibilities- Provide specialized dental and maxillofacial medical consultations and treatments to patients at the teaching hospital.
- Supervise, mentor, and train resident doctors, medical students, and other healthcare professionals in the department.
- Participate in departmental clinical audits, academic meetings, and institutional research initiatives to advance dental medicine.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and improved clinical outcomes.
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of hospital policies and best practices within the dental unit.
- Possess a primary medical degree (MBBS/BDS) from a recognized institution with full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Hold a relevant postgraduate fellowship qualification (e.g., FWACS, FNMCP, or equivalent) in Dentistry or related specialties.
- Demonstrate a strong background in clinical practice, academic teaching, and hospital administration.
