Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical and laboratory consultation services in Chemical Pathology for patients at UNILESA Teaching Hospital.
  • Supervise, interpret, and validate complex biochemical assays and laboratory investigations.
  • Train and mentor resident doctors, medical students, and allied health professionals.
  • Participate actively in hospital committees, clinical audits, and quality assurance programs.
  • Conduct and publish high-impact clinical and translational research to advance medical science.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Possess a primary medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCP) or West African Postgraduate Medical College (FWACP) in Chemical Pathology, or equivalent foreign qualifications.
  • Current and valid practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical practice, laboratory management, and medical education.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
