Key Responsibilities- Provide expert diagnostic services in anatomic and molecular pathology to support clinical departments and patient management.
- Conduct thorough post-mortem examinations, surgical pathology evaluations, and cytology interpretations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis of complex medical conditions.
- Participate in the training, mentoring, and supervision of resident doctors, medical students, and laboratory personnel.
- Engage in institutional research, clinical audits, and continuous quality improvement initiatives within the pathology department.
- Maintain compliance with national and international medical standards, hospital policies, and safety protocols.
- Possess a primary medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Must be a Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCPath) or West African Postgraduate Medical College (FWACP), or hold an equivalent recognized international qualification in Anatomic Pathology.
- Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Demonstrated expertise and interest in molecular pathology techniques and diagnostics.
