About the Role
Petro-Tracking Services Limited, an ISO 9001:2008 certified leader in NDT, material testing, inspection, and oil and gas support services, is seeking a dedicated and professional Medic / Rig Nurse. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive medical care, administer first aid, and manage health emergencies on-site, ensuring the highest standards of occupational health and safety for our workforce in demanding industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide immediate medical attention, emergency response, and primary healthcare to all personnel on site.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment in the clinic or sickbay.
- Conduct routine health assessments, fitness-for-duty evaluations, and safety briefings for staff.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of medical records and ensure compliance with company health and safety policies.
- Coordinate medical evacuations and liaise with referral hospitals or emergency services when advanced care is required.
- Promote health and hygiene awareness across the facility through regular inspections and educational campaigns.
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree, HND, or OND in Nursing or a related medical field.
- Valid professional nursing license and relevant certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
- Proven professional experience working as a nurse, preferably in an industrial, marine, construction, or oil and gas environment.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and crisis management skills.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure during medical emergencies.
