About the Role
Future Resilience and Development Foundation (FRAD) is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to promoting social services, building community resilience, and reducing illiteracy among vulnerable populations such as women and children. We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Media & Communication Intern to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in amplifying our organizational voice, raising awareness about our humanitarian projects, and engaging with our stakeholders across various digital and traditional media channels. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the non-profit sector while contributing to meaningful social impact across Nigerian communities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in developing engaging content for FRAD's social media platforms, website, and newsletters.
- Design graphic materials, flyers, and digital assets for campaigns, events, and community outreaches.
- Support the documentation of project activities through photography, videography, and compelling storytelling.
- Help draft press releases, reports, and communication briefs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor media trends and assist in maintaining the organization's positive public image and brand consistency.
- Bachelor's degree or ongoing higher education in Mass Communication, English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with social media management, basic graphic design tools, and digital content creation.
- Passionate about humanitarian work, community development, and social impact.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-cultural non-profit environment.
