About the Role
Shakti Industries Limited is Nigeria's premier large-scale blown film manufacturer with an outstanding two-decade track record of excellence. We produce high-quality films and PET preforms for diverse applications, proudly serving over 64 industries across the nation. We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Technical Personnel to join our dynamic maintenance team and ensure optimal equipment performance across our state-of-the-art production facility.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on extrusion, printing, lamination, and converting equipment
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic malfunctions during active production shifts
- Replace worn or damaged components including bearings, seals, gears, rollers, and belts
- Calibrate and adjust machine settings to optimize tension control, sealing temperatures, and cutting accuracy
- Document all repair activities, performance metrics, and parts usage in maintenance logs and CMMS software
- Maintain strict compliance with factory safety protocols and proper Personal Protective Equipment usage
- Trade Test Certificate, OND, HND, or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience
- Proven experience in flexible packaging or high-speed manufacturing environments preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, power transmission, and mechanical assembly
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
