We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Engineer - Projects to join our expanding team in Ogun State, driving critical industrial engineering initiatives to success.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the end-to-end execution of mechanical engineering projects with a strong focus on power plant construction.
- Manage gas piping installation, testing, and commissioning in compliance with industry safety and quality standards.
- Utilize AutoCAD to design, review, and modify technical drawings, layouts, and schematics for ongoing projects.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and site supervisors to ensure timely project delivery within budget.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and enforce strict adherence to HSE guidelines.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports, documentation, and technical evaluations for senior management.
- Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of general engineering experience, with at least 6 years specifically in Power Plant construction.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in Gas Piping systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering design software.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex industrial projects within tight schedules in Nigeria.
