About the Role
Chemiron International Limited, a renowned household brand established in 1987 and a leader in nutritional healthcare supplements, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Agbara. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing and logistical facilities, directly contributing to our mission of delivering superior health value to consumers across Africa.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on all industrial manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical faults swiftly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain and service electrical control panels, motors, sensors, and automation systems in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and electrical safety protocols at all times.
- Keep accurate maintenance logs and inventory records for spare parts and tools.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve machine efficiency, reliability, and overall output.
- HND or OND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in electrical installations, advanced troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a collaborative team spirit.
- Mandatory residency in Agbara, Ogun State, or its immediate environs.
