We are currently looking for a dynamic and hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join our thriving maintenance team and ensure optimal operational efficiency across our industrial assets.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy-duty equipment, industrial machinery, and forklifts.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and transmission system failures rapidly to minimize operational downtime.
- Execute comprehensive engine repairs and component overhauls in line with strict safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory.
- Collaborate with the broader production and technical teams to improve machinery reliability and plant productivity.
- Adhere strictly to environmental, health, and safety protocols within the manufacturing facility.
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.), or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on professional experience in mechanical maintenance and repairs within an industrial setting.
- Demonstrated practical expertise in repairing and servicing forklifts, heavy-duty equipment, and complex industrial machinery.
- In-depth technical knowledge of hydraulic systems, internal combustion engines, transmissions, and advanced mechanical troubleshooting.
- Prior working experience in a fast-paced manufacturing plant or steel production environment will be a distinct advantage.
