About the Role
White Soul Motors Ltd, a leading subsidiary of White Soul Investment Ltd with over 19 years of operational excellence in the Nigerian automobile industry, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our operations in Calabar. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the safety, reliability, and optimal performance of our heavy-duty fleet to support our seamless logistics and haulage services.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine inspections, servicing, maintenance, and comprehensive repairs on company trucks and heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
- Accurately diagnose complex mechanical faults and determine the most efficient repair requirements with minimal supervision.
- Inspect and repair engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, steering, and cooling systems.
- Execute proactive preventive maintenance schedules to minimize vehicle downtime.
- Perform routine tasks including oil changes, vehicle lubrication, filter replacements, and brake servicing.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee absolute roadworthiness.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience working as a Mechanic.
- At least 2 to 3 years of specialized, hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing trucks and heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
- Strong technical expertise in diesel engines and major truck mechanical components.
- Demonstrated ability to execute preventive and corrective maintenance independently.
- Valid certifications in automotive mechanics or a related technical field will be an added advantage.
