Key Responsibilities- Deliver well-structured and engaging mathematics lessons to students across various grade levels in accordance with the Nigerian and British curricula.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to learners and parents.
- Create a stimulating, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations, including junior and senior secondary school certificate exams.
- Participate in school co-curricular activities, staff meetings, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively and maintain accurate academic and attendance records.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics Education, Statistics, Pure Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience in a recognized primary or secondary school setting.
- Strong command of the subject matter with the ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to utilize modern educational tools and digital learning platforms.
- Must reside within Mushin, Ilasamaja, or easily accessible areas in Lagos.
