About the Role
The Diocese of Evo Education Board, the principal administrative organ of the Diocese of Evo under the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), invites qualified Mathematics Teachers to join our dedicated educational team. Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with national curriculum standards
- Assess student progress and maintain comprehensive academic records
- Prepare students for WAEC and NECO examinations with proven coaching strategies
- Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Collaborate with colleagues to implement effective teaching methodologies
- Provide additional support and guidance to students requiring academic assistance
- Participate in school activities and contribute to institutional development
- Bachelor's degree in Education with specialization in Mathematics
- Minimum of 5 years' classroom teaching experience at secondary level
- At least 3 years' demonstrated experience preparing students for WAEC and NECO examinations (advantageous)
- Strong command of contemporary and effective teaching methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Passion for student success and commitment to continuous professional development
