Day Stars Private Schools is an outstanding co-educational institution located in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria, dedicated to providing comprehensive learning from early childhood through high school since January 2011. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our esteemed academic team and inspire the next generation of critical thinkers.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and structured Mathematics lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Develop comprehensive curriculum materials, lesson plans, and schemes of work in line with national educational standards.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents during consultations.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
- Prepare students effectively for internal examinations as well as relevant external certifications.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and school-wide extracurricular activities.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), B.Sc with PGDE, or equivalent relevant qualification in Mathematics or a related field.
- Proven teaching experience within a recognized primary or secondary school environment.
- Deep understanding of modern pedagogical techniques and curriculum requirements in Nigeria.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Strong passion for teaching with a proven track record of improving student performance in mathematics.
