Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Mathematics lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support to ensure academic growth.
- Create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Encourage students' moral and spiritual development in alignment with the core values of the school.
- Collaborate with fellow colleagues and participate in departmental meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavioral development.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Education (Mathematics), or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven teaching experience in a reputable secondary school.
- Strong command of secondary school Mathematics with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to student growth academically, morally, and spiritually.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
